I went four nights and five days in January 2017 (rainy season).
Where did you stay in Bali?
When I went to Bali in 2017, I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bali in Nusa Dua.It was my first time in Bali, so I decided to stay in the Nusa Dua area to stay in a safe place as much as possible.I've heard that bali, a resort, is relatively safe, but is it safer to have security checks in the Nusa Dua area to enter the area in places developed by the Indonesian government?I thought. In fact, there were many well-known hotels in the Nusa Dua area, such as the Grand Hyatt and Hilton, and there was a safe atmosphere. The security checks we received when entering the Nusa Dua district were strictly done, and there were a lot of security guards in the vicinity of Nusa Duagate, so we were able to relax in the area with peace of mind. And, it is a hotel, but there is only ritz-carlton and the building is gorgeous and beautiful, and i was impressed by the hospitality of the staff!I got on the pick-up car at the Ritz-Carlton Bali from the airport, but when I saw the figure here, the driver greeted me with a smile, and he carried me with him politely when I carried my luggage.I was also impressed by the place where the towel, water, and cookies were prepared in the pick-up car!It was about a 30-minute drive from the airport, but it was nice to feel the atmosphere of the luxury resort for a short time. There were about two security checks after arriving at the hotel, but I think that it is safe to play in the resort if you check this firmly on the contrary. The hotel was beautifully maintained, and the plumeria flowers that seemed to be Bali were blooming and were beautiful. The hotel grounds are very large, so you can move around the site by buggy, but it's also great because it feels like a luxury hotel! We used the ritz-carlton's luxurious lounge a few times, but there were plenty of alcoholic beverages in the lounge and a lot of cocktails. Some of them were prepared indonesian food, and there were a lot of fruit varieties, so I was at a loss which one to eat.The level of dessert sat was also high, and all the cakes were fun. There is also a private pool in the lounge, where you can take a break while enjoying fruit and sake after a short swim.I encountered a few heavy rains a day during the rainy season, but i think i was able to enjoy the service in the hotel as a result of not being able to go out due to the heavy rain.
Where did you go to Bali?
First, we went swimming on the beach while it was sunny. The beach in Nusa Dua is beautiful in the white sand, and it is in a location like the private beach of the hotel, so you can play with peace of mind. There were lifeguards and security guards, so it's safe to say something. However, sunscreen is essential because the sun is quite tight even in the rainy season.Because it enters water and sunscreen falls, it is recommended to repaint it again and again.I think I was wearing sunscreen quite tightly, but by the time I returned home, I got quite sunburned. At the Ritz-Carlton, there was a sunscreen cream available for guests on the beach and for the guests who went there, so we used it to play on the beach, but the sunscreen we brought from Japan was not completein this period. And bali is hot anyway!I'm worried about sunburn, but if you don't have plenty of hydration, you'll soon come to feel like you're going to have heat stroke!Especially during the rainy season, it's hot and humid, so i think it's easy to feel sick if you don't rehydrate properly.
I bought souvenirs at a shopping mall called Bali Collection in the Nusa Dua area and a large supermarket called Hardy's.The Bali Collection is a pretty shopping mall, and you can buy some nice souvenirs and there were some Japanese restaurants. However, nusa dua price, souvenirs might be a little expensive.Hardy's, on the other hand, was a really local supermarket, with fresh food that locals bought, and souvenirs for tourists. It seems to be cheaper to procure a souvenir from bali collection. At the supermarket, you can buy indonesian instant noodles and petit plastic cosmetics, and there were a lot of Balinese sweets that seemed to be able to be used as a souvenir.Especially, the instant noodles of Indonesia were popular among the people in the company, and it was delicious when I put the fried egg on the spicy noodle with the spice. This is really cheap, you can buy in Japanese yen for about 40 yen.I think that the person who is addicted is a taste which is addicted! It is recommended because it tastes like spicy yakisoba.
What's useful in Bali?
Prior to going to Bali, we decided on a hotel or a stay area by referring to the website of a travel agency called "King of Bali".
If you are going to Bali, we strongly recommend that you bring a spray of insect repellent!Insects come out in luxury hotels, and mosquitoes in Bali are also the mediators of disease, so insect repellent spray is a necessity. After that, it is convenient to take a lot of underwear and t-shirts.Bali is hot all year round, so i sweat quite a bit, even if I go to the rainy season or the dry season. At that time, I think that it is good to take it a little more because i can spend it comfortably if there is a change of clothes. And, it is a thin feather cloth that it is good to take it further.Bali is certainly hot, but in hotels, supermarkets and shopping malls, air conditioning is effective and sometimes a little too cold. So, if there is one thing to wear on a T-shirt or tank top, i will not feel too cold.It might be relieved that the stall is also a plus alpha if it is a feather fabric so that the temperature can be adjusted for myself or it is cold.
Advice for people going to Bali!
It is convenient to travel by car to go around the sightseeing spot, but I think that it is better to use the service of the car charter than the taxi.We went sightseeing in temples and other places by taxi, but it was good that we were able to ride without hesitation because the taxi was not as expensive as Japan. However, car charters in Bali are considerably cheaper with gasoline charges and about 8,000 yen a day, and in addition to drivers, japanese (or Indonesians who can speak Japanese) guide will follow you, so I think you can travel more flexibly! Most of the Balinese people are Balinese Hindus, so there are many local local rules that japanese people don't feel like.At such times, if you have a Japanese guide, you will be able to learn about local rules and religious taboos, so you should be able to travel with peace of mind.In addition, I think that it is possible to travel smoothly if i keep the local rule etc. in mind before going to Bali after all.For example, there is a rule that people who are bleeding in Balinese temples are not allowed into the temple (no one is injured or physiologically injured).I first learned about the rules locally, but i was not able to go sightseeing in the temple because i was in the category of people who were bleeding because of bad times and menstruation. So, especially if you're a woman, it's better to make plans for your trip after checking to see if the time of your trip to Bali is menstrual and not covered.
